Belgian animated feature film on longlist Oscars

Ben Stassen’s animated feature film Fly me to the Moon is named on the longlist for the Academy Awards 2008.
The 14 names on the list are tough competitors featuring blockbusters such as Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
The five nominations will be announced January 22, 2009.
Fly me to the moon combines the Apollo 11 mission with a whimsical twist involving three teen-aged flies who go along on an incredible space adventure.
